Back in September, Kanye West sat with Vogue and confirmed plans for a collaborative album with Drake. “We’re just working on music, working on a bunch of music together,” he told the publication.

Drake previews “More Life” LP, finds revenge on “Two Birds, One Stone”

A month removed, the words “working on a bunch of music” rang quite louder after West was revealed as a credit on Drizzy’s “Two Birds, One Stone,” one of the four records the OVO star premiered on OVO Sound radio for his 30th birthday. The liner note appeared on Tidal, listing Kanye as lyricist, composer, and producer.

Of course, this is the same cut that features Drake’s barb aimed at Kid Cudi, who recently went into rehab to treat a struggle with depression and “suicidal urges.” Cudi called out the rapper for the line (“You were the man on the moon / Now you just go through your phases / Life of the angry and famous”) on Twitter.

Despite the darts thrown in the past, Kanye has been supportive of Cudi as of late, taking time during his string of Saint Pablo Tour dates to send love to his former G.O.O.D. Music protégé.

Kid Cudi has nothing to be ashamed of

“Two Birds, One Stone” is set to appear on Drake’s upcoming “playlist” project, More Life. The project is set to arrive in December.
