After a teaser was released last week, Meek Mill’s interview on Taxstone’s Tax Season podcast has been released in full.
The 106-minute interview features the Philly rapper opening up about every topic that has been associated to his name as of late. From disassociating himself from the term “rap beef” to getting called out by Beanie Sigel and Game, Meek clarifies everything. Of course, the elephant in the room that is his feud with Drake was also discussed. Speaking on the origin behind the issue, Meek revealed that it all began after he returned from jail. “We kinda had a relationship. I haven’t seen him since I came home. You know, me and the Nicki situation and I haven’t ran into you yet,” he explained. “I had a show in Philly. He was supposed to come to my show. They said they don’t know about it… I had this shit set up for four months. The day of, nobody comes through and call me so I’m just backstage looking like a fraud to everybody I told.”
When asked if he believes the two will ever put an end to the issue, Meek agreed. “Yeah, we don’t got no real problem. We don’t have no real problem.”
The all-encompassing interview also touches on Beanie Sigel, Game, reality, being a role model, handling fame, and more. Check it out below.
