As the rap world goes berserks over Meek Mill’s rollicking DC4 release, which hit online Thursday night (October 27), Taxstone picked the perfect time to tease his latest interview featuring the man of the hour.

In a preview clip that has since stirred chatter online, Tax asks Meek about his initial thoughts on Drake’s “Back to Back.” In response, Meek admitted “it was hot,” however, “I ain’t think it was no shit that people was gonna be like, ‘You got killed.’”

“Like when we shoot at ni—as, you gotta shoot a ni—a through the heart. When you wake up in the mirror, you looking in the mirror, you hearing what the ni—a told you, some shit about yourself that you can’t even deal with. That’s how we battle where we come from,” he said.

Considering past rap feuds where things got ugly lyrically (Think “Left condoms on your baby seat,” on Jay Z’s “Supa Ugly”), Meek went on to explain that there was nothing said on “Back to Back” that drove him crazy. “When Nas and Jay Z battled and ni—as was hitting at each other… they trying to hit you in your head.” Right before the preview ends with a cliffhanger, Tax asks the burning question: “Why you didn’t respond.”

The full interview is expected to arrive on Monday.

In the meantime, Meek clapped back at all the naysayers and critics on the long-awaited DC4 and fans had a lot to say on Twitter.
