Nicki Minaj has been holding nothing back lately. The Marie Claire cover girl who was the talk of the Tidal X: 1015 concert called into Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning, and you know the host couldn’t go without asking about the rapper’s boyfriend, Meek Mill.

The Philly rapper is an ongoing feud with Nicki’s labelmate Drake, and recently found himself in the crosshairs of Game and Beanie Sigel. But Nicki told Ebro that when Meek runs his mouth on wax, she’s just as surprised as anyone else:

“There are times that he doesn’t share with me what he’s about to do, especially when it’s like battle rap stuff,” she said. “He don’t really share that with me. He’ll go in and just do him and then I’ll react like a fan. I’ll tell him how I feel just as a fan.”

But Nicki did say all the drama is getting a bit tired — Meek might feel the same, considering he deleted his Instagram account this week.

“I think everybody’s over it,” she said. “Come on. It’s pretty played out. It’s over. But I feel like sometimes you’re put in a position and you react and it is what it is. But let me tell you something: I do not believe there’s any such thing as negative publicity.

“There’s a lot of things I know about other rappers that I just be quiet because I think as a man, and as a rapper, and as an artist, he runs his sh-t the way I run my sh-t. He’s the boss of his stuff, so it’s like I don’t want to really step in too much because it’s not my place. Because behind the scenes, I’m such a rapper that I’m always critiquing everything, even with him … he gotta live his own life at a certain point in terms of his career choices. I strongly believe that great music changes everything. If ni–as got your name in they mouth for a year or two, thank them. If you come out with great music after all of that, nothing matters.
