After delivering the ’80s-inspired arena-ready rock of “Perfect Illusion” and the powerful acoustic ballad “Million Reasons,” Lady Gaga has now shared the third single off her upcoming album, Joanne.

She first debuted “A-Yo” during the Nashville stop of her small, three-city Dive Bar Tour, but for those of us too unlucky to nab a spot on the guest list, the official version is just as rewarding.

Kicking off with a “here we go!” intro, listeners are invited on an upbeat ride full of thumps, double-time handclaps, and rocky guitar riffs both reverb-drenched and rubbery. Like its predecessor “Reasons,” it’s country-tinged, but she’s far from singing the blues this go ’round. Instead, she’s taking the lead, spewing both purrs and growls while making provocative promises.

“I can’t wait to rev you up / Faster than you can say ‘Ferrari’ / Tearin’ up the gravel, watch you unravel / Now it’s a party / Hey, I can’t wait to cast my spell / Which one, you’ll never tell / ‘Cause I got it covered, city gravy southern / Got you drippin’ like no other.”
