Pusha T is back and he’s released his latest single titled “H.G.T.V.” In the track, produced by Mike WiLL Made-It, Pusha aims familiar shots at one of his favorite targets in the game, Drake, referencing So Far Gone, the artwork to Nothing Was the Same, and the ghostwriting allegations.

“It’s too far gone when the realest ain’t real,” he raps. “I walk amongst the clouds, so your ceilings ain’t real / These niggas ‘Call of Duty’ ’cause they killings ain’t real / With a questionable pen so the feeling ain’t real.”

The 38-year-old Virginia-born emcee continues, admitting he’s unimpressed with his competition: “The bar’s been lowered, the well’s run dry / They beefing over melodies, but no, not I / See, I’m so top five / If they factor in the truth, I just might blow by.”

Pusha’s beef with Drizzy dates all the way back to the beginning of the Toronto rapper’s career in 2006, when Push was publicly trading disses with Drizzy’s mentor, Lil Wayne. After Weezy F. started wearing Bapestas, The Clipse and Pharrell dropped “Mr. Me Too,” dissing Weezy by claiming Cash Money was jacking Skateboard P’s style. Both sets have publicly dissed each other in the media over the years before the beef resurfaced in 2012.

“It’s not a personal beef. I don’t personally know any of them,” Pusha told SindanuTV the same year. “These guys have made great music in their day. These guys have fans, tons of fans, so I can’t really let anybody with that many fans and that type of visibility and that type of history, I can’t just let them make statements against me and be quiet about it. That can be viewed as a victory.”

Despite airing his grievances with other artists, Pusha is still looking out for his own, and in his new track, the G.O.O.D. Music president provides encouragement for one of his youngest labelmates, Desiigner.

“Oh mama, they question my starting line up / You only find a diamond from diggin’ like coal miners / Don’t listen to ‘em, Desiigner / The same rappers talkin’ next year will be Uber drivers.”

On Thursday, Push released another single, “Circles,” his collab with the 19-year-old Brooklyn rapper and Ty Dolla $ign.
