Drake postpones Summer Sixteen Tour due to ankle injury

  /  10.05.2016

Drake fans in Toronto, Philly, and Newark will have to wait a bit longer to see The Boy, as Drake is postponing his Summer Sixteen Tour due to an ankle injury.

Drake and Future have done more than 50 shows, in a tour run that has had some highs and lows; in Arizona, millions of dollars worth of jewelry was stolen from the tour bus; and in an earlier stop in Philadelphia he continued his feud with Meek Mill.

On Wednesday, the rapper wrote an announcement to fans saying he was “crushed” and felt like he was letting them down, but he’s following doctor’s orders by giving himself time to recuperate. “I promise – I will make it up to you,” he wrote.
