Justin Timberlake is still busy pushing promo for Trolls. Not only does he voice the lead character in the animated film, but he also serves as executive producer for the movie’s soundtrack, which we first got a taste of with the ultra-cheesy “Can’t Stop the Feeling.”

Now, he’s shared a snippet from yet another track and this one sounds familiar.

JT and Earth, Wind & Fire have teamed up for a rework of the band’s classic 1978 hit “September,” marking the first time they’ve ever re-recorded one of their songs with another artist.

JT managed to keep the foundation of the disco track with its horns and trademark “bah-dee-ah,” but a deep-toned scat and new ad-libs from the singer (“Dancing in September / all the way down to the summer”) offer up a slight change.

Was the revamping even worth it?
