KING, the trio behind some of the most lush and heavenly R&B out, and Sam Sparro, the Australian dance and funk, uh, king, posted this photo on Instagram of them working on music together:

Whatever they have concocted will probably be a synth-driven, soulful dream. You might be familiar with Sparro’s hit single “Black and Gold,” which Wale remade on his 2010 More About Nothing mixtape. KING were mentored by Prince himself, and recently backed up Corinne Bailey Rae on the enchanting single “Green Aphrodisiac.”

Who knows what the timeline is for their collaboration? Sparro just dropped his latest EP, Quantum Physical 3: Conspiracy, in August, while KING’s long-awaited debut album, We Are King, was released at the top of this year. Please don’t keep us waiting too long!
