Rick Ross, “No U-Turns”

Rick Ross let his team know with his latest release, “No U-Turns” — don’t switch sides on his block. The song is a soundtrack for loyalty and a proclamation of brotherhood. As DJ Khaled, Drake, and Rozay sent us “No New Friends” as the anthem to bump with our squads, “No U-Turns” serves as a strong part two that will be the new code of friendships and relationships. “You switch sides you better stay there!” I can hear this song traveling the waves of the clubs but also in our fun, daily vernacular with our friends. —TJ Bowden

Koncept, “Boat” feat. Mike Two

Brown Bag AllStar artist Koncept has teamed up again with fellow New York rapper Mike Two for the latest single “Boat.” The last time these guys collaborated was for an in-your-feelings song titled “Understand Me.” This time around, they’ve decided to leave the lovey-dovey stuff aside and address the haters. It’s looking like these two artists will continue to join forces in the near future. Won’t be surprised if they drop an album together.— Erin Ashley Simon

24hrs, “Count Me Out” feat. Ty Dolla $ign & Yo Gotti

Who the hell is 24hrs? Because this track is fire!!! The Ty Dolla $ign and Yo Gotti-supported single serves as a solid music introduction for the mysterious rapper. And if this song bangs too hard for you (which shouldn’t be the case at all), you should also check out the artist’s other singles like “Body” and “Stylist.” Hopefully, sometime soon, we will find out who this artist is. Salute! —E.A.S.

OG Boo Dirty, “Wanna Be Rich”

Serving an ounce of motivation with a side of aspiration, OG Boo Dirty”s recently released Billionaire Dreams is filled with highlights. Among the 12 tracks is “Wanna Be Rich,” which finds the Memphis native cooking up his own recipe to success. Over knocking bass lines and plucking cymbals, he lays out his plan, while painting his own hard-edged vision. He’s got “dreams of spending millions,” but before rap the one option calling him was “cooking chicken on my road to riches.”— Ralph Bristout
