So Barack and Michelle Obama, our glorious First Couple, are pictures of perfection as the cover stars of ESSENCE‘s latest issue.

And while that’s all well and good, it’s one of the photos on the inside of the magazine that’s got everyone talking.

The pic in question? One of our POTUS and FLOTUS facing each other, nearly forehead-to-forehead, holding hands in an intimate shared moment.
