If you are a Fashion Week virgin, the best show to start with is definitely VFiles’. The crew behind the label-boutique-online community hybrid brings you into a warm atmosphere orchestrated by a gang of friends and, given the kind nature of the attendees, those few outsiders were more comfortable and willing to get to know new people. Seated amongst stars like Justine Skye, Cardi B, Young Thug, Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert, it was a nice change of pace.

Around 9 p.m. at New York’s Spring Studios, the lights flickered as A-Trak announced the start of the show. It began with a showcase of the VFiles’ new app that highlights all the people behind the magic, and the crowd was soon greeted by young guitarists and acrobats draped in a unique camouflage-printed sweatsuits. They filled the room intensifying the excitement that already lingered in the air.[

New York Fashion Week S/S 2017: YEEZY SZN 4 Review

As the designers began to roll their collections down the runway, each was more abstract and jaw-dropping than the next. Now VFiles Runway typically isn’t known for the more wearable items, but with a little imagination you could wear these garments any day of the week — just ask Roxx Brown.

The highlight of the evening, however, was Young Thug’s impromptu runway appearance. Acting as a stand-in stylist, he leaped up mid-stream to adjust the collar of one of the garments. Watch out foxy Roxxy! Shortly after, the outfit that had us all going crazy on Thug’s album cover graced the runway too to much applause from the audience. Take a look at what we experienced during the show.
