Johnny Depp will attempt to solve the unsolved murders of Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. in the upcoming crime drama “Labyrinth.”
According to Hollywood Reporter, Depp is attached to play Detective Russell Poole, a former Los Angeles police detective police detective who theorized that Death Row Records mogul Suge Knight was involved in the shooting deaths of both Tupac and Christopher “The Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace.
The title of the film pulls from the late detective’s 2003 book “LAbyrinth: A Detective Investigates the Murders of Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G., the Implication of Death Row Records’ Suge Knight, and the Origins of the Los Angeles Police Scandal,” which saw journalist Randall Sullivan following Poole investigate the murders of both rap stars.
