UPDATE: “Nas Album Done,” starring DJ Khaled, Nas and Ox, is finally here. Watch below.

Last month, DJ Khaled gave the world a taste of what’s to come in the upcoming video for “Nas Album Done,” a standout track from his chart-topping Major Key album.

The Eif Rivera-directed video, which Khaled refers to as a “short film,” stars Nas alongside the one and only Louie Rankin, better known as Ox from the cult-classic film “Belly.” Describing what it was like on the set of the music video, which was shot in the Bahamas, Khaled called it “unbelievable.”

Nas and DJ Khaled hit the Bahamas and tease an epic video for “Nas Album Done”

“First of all, Nas is my good friend, but I’m the biggest fan,” he described. “So when I’m with Nas, I’m confused like, This is Nas! This is the guy we had posters of, playing Illmatic and going crazy to his albums and [now] he’s with us in the Bahamas, smoking a cigar, and eating oxtails.” On the set, Nas and Ox reunited for the first time since “Belly.” Talking about his relationship with the latter, Khaled said the two go way back. “I knew Ox because I was in the movie with him for “Shottas.” So I’ve known Ox for 14, 15 years,” he said. And like Nas, Khaled is also a huge supporter of Louie Rankin. “I’m a fan of him,” he praised. “That is Louie Rankin!”

Set to arrive on Friday (September 9), “Nas Album Done” promises to be an epic watch. According to Khaled, fans will be in for an “amazing key.”

“When you see the video you’re going to be very happy. You know I come from the dancehall culture, so you gonna see certain elements that I felt comfortable doing. You’re gonna get a lot of cloth talk. The most important thing about the video is that you’re going to hear a message,” he promised. “I’m going to put an amazing key out there.”

The video for “Nas Album Done” will be Khaled’s second official music video from Major Key,” which debuted to a No. 1 position last month. His first video off the project featured Jay Z and Future.

“My first two videos is Jay Z and Nas. You see what’s going on right? I had to tell myself that,” he explained. “My first two visuals [for Major Key] is Jay Z, Future and Khaled and now Nas and Khaled. I couldn’t believe that. I was telling my girl, “Yo my first two visuals is Jay Z and Nas.” These guys were in my garage on posters when I was DJing, wishing to one day meet them. Here I am doing videos with them and they don’t even shoot their own videos. God is great.”
