Back in June, Beyoncé was sued by independent filmmaker Matthew Fulks who claimed that the trailer for her Lemonade album copied, without his permission, several elements from his 2014 short film Palinoia.
But Bey’s camp wasn’t buying it and her attorney swiftly filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit.
And the judge has obliged.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the judge threw out the lawsuit, writing: “Upon full consideration of the parties’ briefs and oral arguments, the Court grants defendants’ motion. A memorandum explaining the reasons for this ruling will issue in due course, at which time final judgment will be entered.”
One more win for Queen Bey!
