The show must go on.
Last week, Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs announced plans to delay his Bad Boy Family Reunion by one week in order to recover from a shoulder surgery. Talking to REVOLT, the mogul explained the details behind the injury, revealing he had a torn meniscus and rotated shoulder. “I never knew what athletes went through when they got injured,” he expressed. “Being on tour, you’re actually an entertainment athlete, if you’re onstage for two and a half, three hours. Everybody got something that they deal with. Me, I just had a year of injuries.”
Making sure that he is 100 percent before touching the nation with his Family Reunion Tour for a string of shows expected to generate “greatest show on earth” reactions, the Bad Boy captain took the time to rest and heal. “I had to make sure that [my injuries] healed right and needed that extra week,” he said.
The all-star trek is now scheduled to kick off September 1 in Chicago and will feature Puff Daddy joined by Lil Kim, Ma$e, Faith Evans, the Lox, 112, Total, Mario Winans, and Carl Thomas.
“Everybody get your tickets to every city that we’re coming to,” he said. “I’ma show out everywhere, the whole family is gonna be there. It’s more than your money’s worth.”
