The spring had just begun when Meek Mill decided to unleash a pre-summer warm up in the form of a freestyle, which he properly called “Trap Vibes.” After a four month hiatus, the Philly rapper returned to promise more trap, only this time it was via a post on IG that detailed plans to keep it “forever lit” courtesy of DC4.

In case you’ve been living under an OVO sponsored rock, DC4 is the highly anticipated fourth installment in Meek’s Dreamchasers series. The project has been in the works for a year, which happens to be just about the same amount of time that has passed since he ignited his rap feud with Drake. With redemption on the brain, it’s no hyperbole when we write the following: DC4 is the most important project in Meek’s career.
