Travis Scott is set to drop his new album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight on August 26. So as the days roll and date draws near, the “Pick Up the Phone” rapper is pushing everything on his schedule aside to make that release happen. This week, the rapper cancelled shows in U.K. due to a delay in the mixing of the album.

As revealed on Monday (August 22), Scott backed out of two shows, including one last night, to finish up work on Birds. “Due to his album mixes delay Travis Scott has been forced to cancel his shows in Dublin and Glasgow today and tomorrow,” wrote promoters MCD on Facebook. “He was hoping to have this all finished in time to travel but unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances it isn’t. Refunds are available at point of purchase.”

Scott’s new album is already backed by the singles “Pick Up the Phone,” “The Hooch” and “Black Mass.” More info on the project should be revealed on the next episode of the rapper’s newly launched Apple Music show, .Wav Radio.
