Fresh off his debut performance at Lollapalooza in Chicago, LA-based DJ and producer Jackal (real name Mikey Pennington) has unveiled a laid back reworking of Cash Cash and Digital Farm Animals’ pop-rap collaboration “Millionaire” alongside Nelly.

Jackal injects a slightly slower BPM, as well as a tropical-meets-glitch hop drop versus the original’s trumpet-inspired melody. But his scaled-back reinterpretation could help the record grow new legs as the summer season of supercharged festival anthems comes to an end.
