Fresh off releasing one of the most “profoundly personal and unapologetically political” albums of the year, Blood Orange is giving his Freetown Sound LP a supporting mini-tour, though it probably deserves more.

Starting as soon as the end of this month, the singer will play eight shows across North America, one of which he’ll share with the legendary Grace Jones.

08/24 – Los Angeles, CA @ The Theatre at the Ace Hotel

08/25 – Los Angeles, CA @ The Theatre at the Ace Hotel

08/27 – Berkeley, CA @ Greek Theatre (with Grace Jones)

08/28 – Los Angeles, CA @ FYF Fest

09/13 – Washington, DC @ Lincoln Theatre

09/15 – Atlanta, GA @ Centre Stage

09/21 – Toronto, ON @ Danforth Music Hall

10/01 – New York, NY @ Terminal 5

The singer also recently collaborated with online radio station Know Wave for a classic New York City-centric tee, and re-upped on his own merch with new arrivals, including a long-sleeved shirt named after “Augustine” (the album’s first single), a lighter, and a cap with the album’s track list.
