Following in the footsteps of Kim Kardashian, Nicki Minaj is also teaming up with Glu Mobile to create her very own mobile game.
And while Kim’s challenges users to become the biggest Hollywood socialite, Nicki’s will have them work towards becoming the next rap superstar.
In the virtual world, players will be able to create songs and lyric videos, perform with their crew at the hottest clubs and music venues, customize their cartoon home, meet up with friends and host parties and wear the hottest fashion styles. You know, all the things that matter!

And in the trailer for “The Empire,” Nicki can be heard giving out words of advice and encouragement: “Let’s make this a show to remember. A song is like a page ripped from you diary. Get out there and show the world what you’re made of. I love your apartment! Looking for fun?…Find the party. Always look your best because those pics will be all over the internet. If you want it bad enough, nothing can stop you.”
Sure it sounds silly, but Minaj’s pockets won’t be. According to Glu Mobile CEO Niccolo De Masi, Kim K. has made $100 million since her game’s 2014 launch in 2014.
