As July 2016 came and went at the strike of 12:00 a.m., Frank Ocean once again continues to tease his long-awaited return.

Frank Ocean’s “Boys Don’t Cry” Album: A Definitive Timeline

Following a previous post on his page Tumblr suggesting that new music, in the form of his new album Boys Don’t Cry, would arrive in July 2016, the R&B singer has now launched a mysterious live feed on the said page. Hosted on the site boysdontcry.co, a black and white stream of a bare warehouse with desks and equipment are lined in the back wall with a man (presumably Ocean) sawing wood. To add even more excitement, the Apple Music logo appears in the to right-hand corner of the stream, which has been live for some hours now.

Late on Monday (August 1), word on a new album or single was confirmed by The New York Times, which reported the project would arrive this Friday.

As a part of the deal between Ocean and Apple, the collection will be a two-week exclusive for Apple Music before the album is available to other retailers and streaming services. A music video and a digital publication, Boys Don’t Cry, are also expected to be available in the Apple Store. As of press time, Def Jam nor a representative of Frank Ocean have released a statement .

So stay tuned and, as Chance the Rapper mysteriously teased over the weekend, turn on your notifications.
