It’s been almost two years since BANKS released her debut album Goddess. And now its follow-up is being teased and anticipated.
Back in June, BANKS announced that the recording for her sophomore LP was “f—cking done” before dropping the eerie visuals for its self-loving single “F—ck With Myself.” Now, the second album’s artwork and title have been revealed, albeit unintentionally.
The singer took to social media on Friday (July 29) to share the news, but admits she was only doing so because it had already been leaked. She doesn’t sound terribly happy about it, but, uh, we are. The Altar drops September 30.
Earlier that day, she also posted, without context, a could-be lyric?
“Just admit it: that you wanted me smaller; if you woulda let me grow, you coulda kept my love.”
