Kanye West backs a sale of Tidal to Apple Music. In fact, he’s calling for a summit with himself, Jay Z, Drake, Scooter Braun, Jimmy Iovine and the Apple execs to iron out differences. In a series of tweets, ‘Ye got to the point, “it’s f——g up the music game” and to cut the check to Jay and the Tidal team. There has been speculation that Apple would purchase Tidal; currently the two are battling for exclusives, with big-time artists choosing one service over the other for exclusive limited windows during the release of blockbuster albums.
