Drake continues being Drake.

As the weeks in the calendar disappear, Drake’s Views looks more and more like the linchpin of the Billboard 200 top spot. This week, Views reigns atop once again with 89,000 units, according to Nielsen Music. Like every week, this adds yet another historic feat for the Toronto superstar whose latest album now earns the most weeks at No. 1 since Taylor Swift’s monster 1989 release spent 11 weeks in 2015. As Billboard notes, the last album to lead more than 11 weeks was the Frozen soundtrack, which bowed at 13 weeks. Views has the most weeks at No. 1 for an album by a solo male artist since Billy Ray Cyrus’ Some Gave All, which spent 17 weeks at the top in 1992. Plus, according to HitsDoubleDaily, the album is also the first album to score 1 million in SEA (Streaming Equivalent Albums), all thanks to 1.5 billion-plus streams.

With all that momentum, don’t think for a second that the “Grammys” star plans on slowing down. As the ongoing Summer Sixteen Tour drives the album sales, Drake revealed plans over the weekend for a brand new mixtape. On Saturday night (July 23) in Kansas City, he announced he is working on a new project. “I want you to protect yourselves and each other,” he said. “When I go and work on this new mixtape and come back to Kansas City and I drop that sh t, I wanna see everybody in this motherf* r boy!”

Back to the chart, Rihanna’s Anti, which has remained in the top 10 since its January release, jumps from No. 6 to No. 4 with 34,000 units, while Adele’s 25 rises from 9 to 7 with 31,000. Not far behind Adele is Beyoncé with Lemonade at No. 8 (30,000). Closing out the top 10 this week is ScHoolboy Q’s Blank Face LP, which debuted at No. 2 last week, now bowing with 28,000 units.
