Between the release of his debut album, 2005’s Trap House, and the approaching Friday (July 22) drop of Everybody Looking, Guwop’s done everything from kickstart the careers of this current generation of rap leaders (Future, Migos, Young Thug) and discover the current palette of music hitmakers (Mike WiLL Made It, Zaytoven, Metro Boomin). The guy practically rewrote the blueprint to being a
trap rap god, and it takes more than just the work put in the booth. For Guwop, the whole outweighs the sum of its parts. So all things considered, it wasn’t for him… well, where would the rap game be? With that said, on Twitter today (July 20), fans hosted an #IfItWasntForGucci hashtag party to shed light on his legend.
