Haim just cancelled their European tour
Sister-trio wants to focus on their album instead.
Following in the footsteps of Tinashe who earlier this year cancelled a series of tour dates in order to complete her upcoming album, Haim has just announced that they’re doing the same.
The indie-rock sister trio took to Twitter to share a handwritten note that explained their decision, saying that they’d come to a “critical point” in recording the follow-up to their 2013 debut Days Are Gone and “need to stay close to home” in order to finish it.
According to Este, Danielle and Alana, the decision will only affect scheduled dates at European cities and festivals: “Way Out West, Tivoli, Oya, Frequency, Krakow, Zurich Openair, Reading & Leeds, and Electric Picnic.”
Back in May, when the trio wasn’t paying tribute to Prince, they debuted new music at Los Angeles’ Observatory to give fans a taste of what to expect.
