The REVOLT Music Conference will feature Nas and DJ Khaled, it was announced on Tuesday (July 19), who will join music executives Lyor Cohen and Julie Greenwald as highlighted participants in REVOLT’s third annual music and technology conference.

RMC 2016 takes place October 13-16 in South Beach, Miami at the Eden Roc hotel.

The Queensbridge rap superstar, Nas, will be bestowed the “Started From The Bottom Now We Here” honor, following in the footsteps of Apple Music’s Jimmy Iovine and L.A. Reid, CEO and president of of Epic Records. The award will be presented during the RMC Gala, which will feature a performance by upstart Bibi Bourelly.

DJ Khaled will participant in the #Ask social media Q&A in front of a live audience. REVOLT Chairman Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs was the featured quest for the first two years. Miami resident, DJ Khaled, took his fame to another level with his embrace of Snapchat.

Cohen (300 Entertainment) and Greenwald (Atlantic Records) will serve as keynote speakers, while Tuma Basa (Spotify), Darrale Jones (Def Jam Recordings), producers Cool & Dre, DJ Envy, Funkmaster Flex and Angie Nwandu (The Shade Room) are among the first wave of panelists announced.
