Ty Dolla $ign, “Campaign” Feat. Future

Ty Dolla $ign released his latest single “Campaign” on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show earlier today (July 11) and, instantly, I knew it would be a banger. Not only because of Ty, but because it’s Ty and Future. The last time we saw the duo collaborate was with “Blasé” and we all know how successful that song was. This song serves as the first track off of Fewtch’s upcoming project of the same name.—Erin Ashley Simon

Willie Taylor, “My Bae”

You know Willie, of Day 26 and Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood fame. If you’ve missed his silky voice in your ear, you’re in luck because his new song, “My Bae,” feels like he’s talking only to you. As far as the beat, think Trey Songz-type R&B, with sparse instrumentation and snaps through the verses giving way to a lush chorus that brings the bass. Be warned: This is a nasty song. But we’re all grown here. Who knows what trouble you’ll get into after hitting play.—Driadonna Roland

Chris Brown, “Yo [Excuse Me Miss] (SMLE REMIX)

First off, Chris Brown’s “Yo (Excuse Me Miss)” single is 11 years old. Let that sink in. Like REALLY sink in. Done? Cool. Since it’s been forever, I honestly didn’t know what to expect from this SMLE remix. However, I was surprisingly pleased with what I heard after one minute. Although, Chris Brown’s R&B-styled vocals sound “separate” from the futuristic, synthesized production, it works! Musically, it feels like your ears are jumping into a time capsule, visiting both the present and the past simultaneously. Crazy.—E.A.S.
