Funk-soul singer Sharon Jones has nabbed her own documentary, and the Barbara Kopple-directed film follows the Dap Kings frontwoman in 2013, the year she not only planned to release her fifth studio album Give the People What They Want with her band and embark on a tour, but the year she was also diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
