After backing TIDAL as co-owner in its donation of $1.5 million to Black Lives Matter; launching a fund to address the children of Flint, Michigan’s developmental, education, nutritional and health needs; and speaking out against North Carolina’s anti-LGBQT bill earlier this year, Beyoncé is flexing her activism efforts yet again having raised over $82,000 for the victims of the Flint Water Crisis.

According to a press release from United Way, Parkwood Entertainment and BeyGOOD—the singer’s management company and philanthropic platform, respectively—presented a check worth $82,234 at a Detroit high school on Monday (June 13), the funds a result of fans who purchased Formation Tour tickets and opted in to donating to the city.

Additionally, 14 Detroit-based high school students were picked to receive “college gifts” for educational expenses, as well as surprised with tickets to Beyoncé’s Tuesday night Formation Tour show at Ford Field.
