Lil Wayne Reportedly Suffers Seizure Mid-Flight, Plane Forced To Land
And he’s refusing medical attention.
Update: Lil Wayne has reportedly suffered a second seizure in the air after he refused medical attention and returned to flight. He is now at CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center in Nebraska being treated. A representative for the airport in Omaha confirmed to the Los Angeles Times that two unscheduled landings occurred today (June 13).
Lil Wayne is currently in Nebraska after suffering a seizure mid-flight, which forced the plane he was traveling in to make an emergency landing, according to TMZ.
The Young Money star was reportedly on a flight from Wisconsin to California when symptoms of the seizure struck. Four years ago, in 2012, it was believed Weezy also suffered from seizures during a flight. Earlier this year Prince was flying on a private plane and a medical ailment forced his flight to make an emergency landing; a week later he died.
TMZ is reporting that Wayne has refused medical treatment after he blacked out.
A spokesperson for the rapper has not responded to a request for comment from REVOLT as of press time.
