President Obama Slow-Jams The News On Jimmy Fallon

Commander In Preach.

Last night, President Obama dropped the mic and exited stage left on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show. As the president’s two terms in office come to a close, Fallon and The Roots helped the Commander in Chief recount his best moments at the White House and what’s coming next, in the form a steamy “Slow Jam The News” segment.

“It’s been an honor and a privilege to serve as your president over the past eight years,” Obama began his news serenade. While Fallon joked in a baritone voice, “The Republicans gave him lemons. He made so much lemonade, Beyoncé started calling him ‘Baracky with the Good Hair.”

The president also introduced his new trade deal, the Trans-Pacific Partnership, or the TPP. When Fallon asked him, “Are you saying you’re down with TPP?” Obama gave the best response:, “Yeah, you know me.”

Midway into the segment, Obama even rapped along to Rihanna and Drake’s smash hit “Work” and indirectly fired shots at Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. It was a bittersweet grand closing, but most certainly a reminder of his true charisma and greatness over the years.
