Yo Gotti Says He Recorded "Champions" Verse Day Before It Was Released
When Kanye calls, be ready.
When Kanye West and company call, you deliver. That’s how Yo Gotti explained it. The Memphis rapper spoke to REVOLT at Power 106’s Powerhouse and told us the time between him submitting his verse for the Cruel Winter offering to hearing on the radio was less than 24 hours.

“I recorded my part last night” Gotti said, “and it came out this morning.
“Shout out to Kanye for even giving me a chance to hop on a record with him,” he added.
Gotti’s having a good year, from his collaborating with the G.O.O.D. crew to the reception of his latest LP, The Art of Hustle.
The follow-up to his “Down in the DM” hit, “Law” featuring E-40 has been climbing the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and he released the video in April, with a gut-busting cameo from Lil Duval.
His number one law? Loyalty.
“Over everything,” he explained. ” A lot of people put money first, I don’t.”
“Anybody know, I put on for my city, I put on for the hustlers around the world,” he said. “Anybody from the streets trying to put on or diversity, I put on for them.”
