Prophets Of Rage Announce Tour With Kickoff At Republican National Convention
Band promises to “cause a ruckus.”
Newly-formed supergroup Prophets of Rage may have had one of their first shows deterred by inclement weather this past weekend, but that won’t slow the six-man band down. The crew has just announced their North American tour. And it’s first stop is bound to make a bold statement.
The band will kick off the 35-date “Make American Rage Again Tour” on July 19 in Cleveland, where the Republican National Convention is taking place. And despite the fact that the location has yet to be determined, member Tom Morello has promised to “cause a ruckus.”
He told Rolling Stone, “We will be there on the streets, in the field. We have a venue and there may be venues that will be spontaneous venues, it’s hard to say. This is the kind of thing you don’t broadcast to the local authorities prior to arrival.”
Proceeds from each show will benefit a local homeless charity. Check the dates below:
