Philadelphia D.A. Office Confirms Meek Mill 90-Day House Arrest Extension
The rapper has to complete community service.
Meek Mill was originally set to complete his 90-day house arrest this week, but that has since been extended.
As first reported by TMZ, the Philadelphia rapper, who was scheduled to finish his term on Wednesday (June 1), was hit an additional eight days of home confinement after failing to complete his community service. REVOLT hopped on the phone with Cameron Kline, spokesperson for the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, who also confirmed the update, stating, “Mr. Meek Mill’s 90-day has been extended, not by any new order but, because he has not done his community service.”
“He is still under house arrest until he completes that,” he added.
Once Meek puts forth the proper amount of hours, his house arrest will be reevaluated by the Philadelphia D.A.’s office.
