The venture between the oil company and musicians was spearheaded by their latest campaign #MakeTheFuture. As part of the campaign, both Akon and Hardwerk unveiled their new single “Tell Me We’re OK” and a music video featuring Africa’s first human and solar powered soccer field. As Akon reemerges into the music space, he said his passion for energy conservation will continue to grow as part of this new partnership. “It’s about creating new ideas and newer ways to deal with energy,” Akon explained.
