The aftermath of the shooting at last week’s T.I. concert continues as Live Nation announced that performances by Mac Miller, Vince Staples and Joey Bada$$ will be postponed.

According to a statement given to Rolling Stone, the concert promoter, in accordance with discussions with NYPD, made the decision to postpone a number of concerts, including three taking place at sister venue, Gramercy Theatre (YG, Black Pistol Fire and a Guns N’ Roses cover band).

“In light of last week’s tragic event, we are acting with an overabundance of caution and coordinating a going forward strategy with the New York Police Department that may also include a curfew,” a spokesperson told the magazine. “Because these discussions with New York Police Department are ongoing, we will be postponing a few of our upcoming shows.”

On Wednesday (June 1), Joey Bada$$ tweeted (and later deleted) that the NYPD cancelled his scheduled performance. Police, however, denied his claim and added that they had no bearing on Live Nation’s decision. A representative told RS there was “no NYPD involvement concerning the cancellation of the show at Irving Plaza slated for Thursday evening.”

The T.I. concert took place May 25th and ended before the star rapper could take the stage when gunfire erupted inside Manhattan’s Irving Plaza venue. Three people were hit by bullets and one died. Police later issued video of the incident that showed Troy Ave firing a weapon; the Brooklyn rapper was later charged with attempted murder.
