Kid Cudi To Drop Two Albums This Year, Reveals Work With Travis Scott
Cudder and La Flame will finally connect.
All anticipation has been heard, Cudder and La Flame will connect.
Kid Cudi took to Twitter on Wednesday (June 1) to give fans an update on the status of his upcoming album, Passion Pain & Demon Slayin, but in addition to that, he also revealed plans for the follow-up. That’s right, Cudder is so far ahead of the game that he’s already got a second 2016 album in the works, which has already been pinned for a fall release.
“Excited to upgrade your minds,” he teased. With Demon Slayin’ set for the summer and the untitled release set for fall, Cudi also revealed that there is “only one feature thus far” on one of these albums and it comes from none other than Travis Scott. As many will remember, Scott, an avid fan, has been adamant about getting work done with Cudi several times in the past, including on last year’s Rodeo. “He’s part of my story,” said Scott in an interview with MTV last year about Mr. Man on the Moon. “There would not be a Travi$ Scott if it wasn’t for him.”
Now, the world will (finally) get to hear the two forces come together for one song.
As the anticipation sets course, Cudi’s summer album, Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’, has already been preceded by Cudderland freebies “The Frequency” and “All In.” When a fan asked about the sonic journey on the new LP last month, Cudi answered, “No sad songs on this one. Only light!”
Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’ will mark Cudi’s sixth (solo) studio release.
