Kodak Black was arrested in South Florida on Wednesday (May 18) for various open warrants.

According to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, the rapper, born Dieuson Octave, was taken into custody for eight charges, all from last year, including armed robbery, possession of cannabis, and false imprisonment.

This is the 18-year-old Pompano Beach native’s second run-in with the law this year. Last month, he was arrested for leading police on a car chase. While talking with REVOLT last month, the rapper announced plans of releasing two projects this year, including a mixtape on June 11 and an album on Christmas Day.

As of this writing, the rapper is currently detained at the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
