Earlier this year famed Japanese brand Uniqlo enlisted Kaws to design a new T-shirt collection. After completely selling out on the first release, the company decided to release another collection, this month, and in June a series of totes and room shoes arrive. Graphic T-shirts serve as one of the top grossing clothing items in the world. According to bloomberg.com, “Teespring, one of the top T-shirt sellers in the U.S., printed more than 7 million shirts last year.” Negating its obvious profit value, Kaws has shaped a fan base so massive that people are probably already in lines around the corner. These are the moments when you need a connect.
Fortunately, Uniqlo never falters on delivering a product at a price point that makes you feel like you got it on Black Friday. Merchandise begins at just $14.90 and we imagine these pieces will fly off the shelves relatively fast. It’s also nice to know Uniqlo has a gigantic inventory, so you don’t exactly have to run to the store but you might want to speed walk.
