Breaking out of Queens, New York, 821 is one of the few rising rap groups out of the Big Apple. In addition to that, they’re also one of the few making waves in and out of the state. Their bubbling banger “Lobby” released a year ago, but still the hard-hitting number continues to gain traction on airwaves across the country.

With a co-sign from hometown hero 50 Cent to earning a look from Rae Sremmurd’s Slim Jxmmi on the “Lobby” remix, and more recently dropping their 2821: Reloaded mixtape in a move to catapult their buzz, the rap trio is poised on being the next act out of New York to snag a No. 1 and takeover the rap scene.
