With the 2016 Summer Olympics looming (August 5-21), REVOLT sat down with fencer Daryl Homer to discuss how he became interested in fencing, his chances for gold in Rio and how important it would be to become the first American and Black athlete to achieve the top medal in fencing. It was truly a moment of Black excellence, which Homer also touched out.
