Watch J Dilla & Nas Collaborate In The Vibrant "The Sickness" Video
Off ‘The Diary.’

Long live Dilla. After making its premiere at SXSW in March, J Dilla and Nas’ infectious collaboration “The Sickness” receives a colorful visual treatment wash courtesy of director Ruffmercy. Exchanging images of the late rapper/producer and the Queens lyricist, the clip creates a vibrant collage to match the duo’s dynamic talents.
As the Madlib production bangs, Dilla’s name splashes the screen, as he spits, “I got the MJ disease cause MCs wanna be me/ If I spit anything it’s gonna be heat.”
Originally intended to drop back in 2002, The Diary was shelved until this month, also featuring cameo tracks from Snoop Dogg, Kokane and Bilal.
