What a night to be alive. Beyoncé opened her Formation World Tour in Miami last night (April 27) with a set that stunned, spellbound, and slayed.
While we weren’t there to actually witness Queen Bey come alive and conquer at Miami’s Marlins Park, the following reactions on social media from fans that attended the show did enough justice.
According to reports, Bey performed a 37-song set that also featured a closing performance of “Halo,” which she dedicated to husband Jay Z. “I want to dedicate this song to my beautiful husband. I love you so much,” she said, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. Bey also took a moment to honor Prince with a riveting rendition of “Purple Rain.”
Before Bey took the stage, DJ Khaled warmed things up with an all-star set that featured a coterie of stars, such as Future, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Trick Daddy, Yo Gotti, 2Chainz, and We The Best’s own Kent Jones.
On Friday (April 29), the Formation Tour hits the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. Need tickets? Head over to Ticketmaster.
