If you are a part of the BeyHive you’ve been standing in formation since the video broke the internet, which seems to be a talent Beyoncé has mastered. After suffering through the angst of awaiting her new album you probably resorted to retail therapy and bought plenty of Ivy Park attire. Now that you’ve seen and heard the album, while memorizing every single line, as well as every single dance move you are fully prepared to SLAY at the Formation World Tour… kicking off tonight (April 27)!

Bey has kept us on the edge of our seats, letting our imaginations run wild. We’ve obsessed over the context behind Lemonade, while talking endlessly about the tracks, and looked forward to the surprises we will experience when Bey graces the stage in Miami. We finally get to see what extravagant pyrotechnics and massive Jumbotron displays with twisted fragments from the Lemonade visuals she will use as she belts out the lyrics from her emotional roller-coaster.

Overflowing with excitement, REVOLT took inspiration from the visual album to imagine the outfits Bey will twirl in during this tour.

Throughout Lemonade Beyoncé used many thematic trends with historical context to create her visuals. Above, we thought to marry the Yeezy collection she wore in “Don’t Hurt Yourself” with the Gucci suit she struts in “Formation.” Adding a pop of color with a red fur stole. Drawing from African inspiration, Beyoncé wears tribals marks on her face in “Sorry,” which reminds us of the tradition of scarification. If embossed on a red leather body suit, the texture could represent the texture scarification gives on the skin after it has healed.

Inspired by her Roberto Cavali dress in “Hold Up” and lace dress theme in “6 Inch,” as well as many other videos, in the second look we coupled lace and the infamous bodysuit outfits Beyoncé customarily sports while on tour. Keeping consistent with elements of the visuals from the album, we used these moments that were outstanding and fabrications we saw in the film to create these performance outfits.

Although we’re just imagining here, there is a possibility the fashion we saw in Lemonade will reappear on stage tonight. Until Bey hits the stage we will have to day dream of the glamour and excitement we will enjoy. All night.
