For the 13th year in a row, Time magazine has revealed its annual list ranking the “100 Most Influential People” in the world. Ranging from movers and shakers, who made an impact in 2016, to world leaders, entertainment elite and local activists.

To no surprise, music’s leading chart-stars Kendrick Lamar, Adele, Nicki Minaj, and Ariana Grande rounded out the prestigious roster. While comedian Aziz Ansari, Hamilton’s Lin-Manuel and the youngest addition, Olympic swimmer Katie Ledecky, also contributed as influencers for the year.

“The people on the list, each in their own way, have lessons to teach. We can debate those lessons; we don’t have to endorse them or agree with them,” Time stated.

The magazine also called out 2016 presidential candidates, naming Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Donald Trump and Ted Cruz, only leaving GOP hopeful John Kasich off the list.
