Rae Sremmurd Prep 'SremmLife 2' For Summer Sixteen

  /  04.15.2016

The last time Rae Sremmurd dropped an album, it was early winter 2015. “No Flex Zone” struck a platinum certification from the RIAA (for sales of over 1,000,000), along with the album’s official second single “No Type.” Certifications aside, the full-flex debut held a vice grip on most of the year, by the fall it became an afterthought. So learning from their last round, the duo of Swae Lee and Slim Jimmy look poised to have their latest quintessential mix of party hard anthems and sweet hooks soundtrack the season that belonged to them in the first place: Summer.

With the debut of their menacing new single “Look Alive,” Rae Sremmurd readies the follow-up to 2015’s SremmLife this summer. The song, along with previous released records like “Over Here” and “By Chance” will appear on SremmLife 2, which arrives June 24th via Mike WiLL Made-It’s Ear Drummer Records. The sequel to last year’s debut contains 14 songs with guest appearances from Kodak Black, Juicy J, Lil Jon and more.
