Just weeks after Kanye West’s ever-changing The Life of Pablo expanded out of Tidal and to other streaming services, the G.O.O.D. Music captain gave Apple Music fans a surprise this morning (April 14) with his latest song, “Saint Pablo.”
Popping up out of nowhere, the song hit Apple Music today in its full form after it was premiered at Yo Gotti’s release party for The Art of Hustle. The song features Sampha, who famously appeared on Drake’s 2013 track “Too Much,” and flips the instrumental for Jay Z’s “Where I’m From.” Over the lilting production, Kanye is at his most contemplative as he references moments like almost snagging an Apple Music deal (“It was Larry and me / Told Tim Cook to call me, I was scary to see”) and his infamous debt admission. “Got friends that ask me for money knowing I’m in debt,” he raps. “And like my wife said, I still didn’t say no.”
While it may not last long on the service, head over to Apple Music to check out “Saint Pablo.”
