Ariana Grande Let’s Her Hair Down In Seductive New Video "Dangerous Woman"
“Visual 1” of the two-part video series.
Ariana Grande is entering a new sexy and sultry world. As promised, the pop-princess unleashes her scintillating new video for “Dangerous Woman,” the first single and title track from her upcoming third album.
Labeled “Visual 1,” the Young Astronauts-directed clip may be the first in an undetermined number of clips to accompany the song and project. The grainy quality of the video and the VHS tape lines that cut across give it a distinctly ‘90s homemade feel, as Grande slithers on a plush white couch bathed in magenta hues and shades of blue with hair infamous high-pony tail down for a bed-hair tossed look.
In a recent interview with Radio 1’s Nick Grimshaw, Grande explains the segmented videos as, “We are doing two visuals because this song makes me feel two kinds of ways. It makes me feel sexy and glamorous and I wanted to do a simpler more glam-themed video.”
She continued, “And then I wanted to do another video because it makes me feel also kind of like a super version of myself. It makes me feel like inside me is a black latex super-bunny woman. So there is a simple approach and a weirder more cinematic conceptual bizarre video.”
Watch the first take of “Dangerous Woman” below, as the full LP drops May 20.
